Journey of Hope
Status: NGO Partnership initiated
In Bali, where many children face hardship, Arms of Love Indonesia provides a safe haven of love, education, and care. With the guidance of an art therapist, the children explored art as a tool for healing, finding belonging, unity, and freedom in the process.
Supported by Waeyan Bali Tour, our team sourced materials locally and, with help from the House of Hope children, adapted to the challenging areas. These orphans, pure of heart, are now giving back by helping underprivileged children in Bali’s slums receive essentials for a more comfortable life. Now, their artwork will fund computer science education and materials, equipping them with skills for a brighter future. By supporting this project, you help transform lives through art and education.

Our team identified the potential to tackle the problem of inadequate living situations and educational material in Bali.
Multiple NGOs in the area were contacted to collaborate on this project. The concept was presented and potential dates and performances were discussed.
The Arms of Love Foundation www.armsofloveindonesia.com was visited by the UWD team and successfully chosen for performances due to their extensive work in the education and care of local underprivileged children, orphans, and children living in Bali's slum and dumpster areas. After presenting our UWD art concept performances were arranged and agreed upon.
Our team sourced all necessary materials locally with the support of tour guide and driver Waeyan from www.waeyanbalitour.com Arriving at the dumpster areas the UWD had to improvise with the camera setup but managed with the help of the House of Hope children from the prior day. 
To brighten the day of the children, who live under these circumstances, two semi-professional junior Balinese dancers were engaged to showcase the versatility and beauty of Balinese dances.
Thanks to Emirates airlines our team was able to smoothly transport 4 artworks back to Dubai, in order for them to be displayed during local and international art shows and hopefully sold for the maximum impact on the future of these children in Bali.
Bunte konzepte with Hertz The artworks were revealed at a private event in Dubai on the 20th September 2024, showcasing the progression of this impact story and educating on the impact the proceeds will have.

20% of all artworks, art prints and merchandise will be directed to the Arms of Love Foundation. Details on what happens with the funds are listed here.
20% of the revenue of the artprints and 17% of the revenue of the artworks will be used to better the situation of the House of Hope in Bali.
Our team will be conducting audits to ensure that the proceeds are used in the intended way.

Through Arms of Love Indonesia, the funds raised will provide care packages filled with daily essentials, improving their quality of life and ensuring they have the necessities they need to thrive. Beyond immediate support, these contributions will also open doors to education by funding computer science classes taught by experienced instructors, giving the children access to skills that can shape their future. Through third-party workshops, they will gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience, empowering them with opportunities that once seemed out of reach. Additionally, new equipment will be provided to enhance their learning environment, giving them the tools they need to explore technology, creativity, and personal growth. With every piece of art sold, these children move one step closer to a future of independence, opportunity, and hope.
